Frequency Coordination of Temporary Earth Stations
When a Temporary Fixed Earth Station Operator has an existing, current, FCC license, and needs to provide uplink services at a specific location, this service applies. Micronet provides the frequency coordination service as required by the FCC, and an analysis of frequencies that cannot be used due to potential interference. A summary report will be provided to the client for guidance in selecting operating frequencies.
An example report is available (PDF).
Clearly, Micronet will have to coordinate with each of the parties listed to address the Worst Margin column as these represent the amount of additional blockage needed to ensure that interference into their facilities fall within acceptable limits. However, the client has the assurance that numerous channels are available where there is no conflict. One of these will likely be utilized by the client for temporary operation.
Web-Based Tracking Service
Micronet also provides a free web-based service allowing clients to track the status of their Temporary Coordinations.
